The journey towards Intelligent Data

Nilfisk wish to drive industry innovation by fundamentally changing the way they operate. A key theme here is to collect, consolidate, and make data available, so that processes can be performed “intelligently”. To enable
this, the Global IT Group have an elaborate strategy where Data plays an absolute key role.

Group IT is aligning to X Next and has recently defined a new operating model where all Group IT data centric competencies have been centralized in the department “Data Foundation”. Data Foundation has the mission to create the optimal foundation for how they leverage data in X – be it for reporting or Advanced Analytics with data from ERP, IoT or elsewhere.As Head of Data your role will be to spearhead the journey to get the foundation of data maturity that will enable us to optimally leverage the value of data.

As Head of Data, it will be your responsibility to define and lead the direction for the Data Foundation of the Group globally.

You will lead a team of highly experienced individuals from a range of different technologies (Azure, SAP BW/Hana etc.) towards a coherent, consistent and value enabling data ecosystem.

Your stakeholders will be from many functions within the company I.e. from Global Analytics in Group Marketing, to the Master Data team in Group Finance and IoT data in their Products & Services function. It will be your responsibility to ensure optimal management of expectations with your stakeholders.
